Many local and not so local residents and businesses have supported Mt Riverview Rural Fire Brigade in many different ways over nearly half a century. In fact community support is why the brigade exists.

The Geason family in Emu Plains Road provided their home for our inaugural meeting in 1969 and another family let us use their shed in Bunbinla Avenue for our first tanker until we had a built a fire station.

At times we’ve been recipients of random acts of kindness with sometimes anonymous gifts of everything from cool drinks to homemade cakes and hand-drawn Thank You cards from local school children. Even a “Like” on our Facebook page is great support – and feedback that we are assisting our local community.

We extend our thanks to all who have supported us and continue to do so.
