Although the Rural Fire Service provides its brigades with all essential equipment, there are plenty of instances when community donations make it possible for us to acquire gear which makes it easier for us to better serve the community. As examples, recent acquisitions have enhanced our search and rescue capabilities and made us better able to support the SES with storm damage recovery efforts.
